Dr. Subhash Gupta serves as the Chairman of the Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences, one of the world’s largest liver transplant centers, boasting over 3,000 successful transplants. The center currently performs more than 200 transplants annually, alongside a similar volume of complex hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) cases. He oversees the implementation of safety protocols across various departments, including Hepatology, Anesthesia, and Critical Care. Dr. Gupta joined Max Healthcare in January 2017 and brings extensive expertise in Surgical Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation, and Hepatopancreaticobiliary Oncology, with more than 34 years of experience.
