Dr. Sudhir Rawal is a global leader in Genito-urinary Oncology, specializing in Robotic Surgery and technological innovations for treating cancers of the bladder, kidneys, prostate, penis, and testicles. With over 36 years of experience, he pioneered the Genito Urinary Surgical Oncology Department at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Delhi. Dr. Rawal performed over 1000 robotic surgeries, developed India’s first robot, and conducted groundbreaking surgeries, including the world’s first mini-laparoscopic radical cystoprostatectomy. His leadership extends to creating the Made-in-India Robot Monitor, influencing cancer care both nationally and internationally, with installations across India, Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Ecuador.
